There are so many great companies out there that are working hard to help the world we live in as well as providing us with amazing products. Here are some of my favorites:
Fresh Words Market
For the art lover, Fresh Words Market may have what you are looking for. Their look is clean and modern and the perfect way to freshen up any space. Many of the pieces are customizable, making for a really thoughtful and special gift. The best part is that 10% of all proceeds go towards women and children focused initiatives.
Sunday Suppers
Restaurateur Charlie Hallowell has teamed up with local community organizations to create the Sunday suppers. Every month a different restaurant in the East Bay puts on a 3-course gourmet meal and donates the proceeds to a local charity. So, not only do you get to have an amazing meal but you also get the opportunity to help out the community. The next dinner will be taking place on January 18, 2015 at Chez Panisse. Proceeds will be going to the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Tickets are $100 and going quickly!

Twillory
For the man in your life, think Twillory. Not only does Twillory have great menswear, they have also started a great Re:Purpose program. They have teamed up with Career Gear. When you receive your Twillory package it arrives with a prepaid mailer bag. Put away your new shirt and take out an old one that you no longer want from the back of your closet and ship it back to Twillory. They will wash and check your clothing before donating it to Career Gear. Your re-purposed clothing will help the jobless, homeless and disaster stricken.
Wildlife Works
Wildlife works is an amazing organization with an incredible clothing line. Every dollar spent goes towards job creation, and community development in rural areas all over the world. A good friend of mine works for the company and can attest to all the good they do, along with the fact that their clothes are amazing! In my opinion the Zebra Herd Long Sleeve Tee is the best!
FEED
FEED’s mission is to help put an end to world hunger. They sell a variety of bags, T-Shirts and accessories. Along with the price of the item, they also let you know how many meals your purchase provides. The Feed weekender bag is my personal favorite. If you know someone expecting a child, it also makes a great diaper bag!
Omni Peace
Can Fashion save lives? Omni Peace is another fashion brand whose purpose stretches beyond making people look good. To date money that they have built 7 schools in Africa, raised funds for City of Joy, sent two convoys in Somalia to feed over 5,000 families. It’s a great gift for anyone!

If you still haven’t found what you are looking for, don’t forget about TOMS. With every product you purchase, TOMS will help someone in need. They have something for everyone. They make far more than just shoes now. Their apparel selection has exploded and includes clothes for men, women and children.
